Fall Entertainment

I love summer, but I love fall more. Way more. It always signifies new beginnings and a familiar comfortableness to me. I’m hoping to read a few of the many to-read books (I’m always updating my Read board on Pinterest) on my list this season in between the many fall premieres this month. WHEN did I turn into such a TV freak? Honestly. I’m not even upset about it because there’s nothing I adore more than a good TV show. Here are a few of my top book picks for fall… Have you read any of them? Any suggestions, lovelies?

Jessica Darling’s It List by Megan McCafferty // Anthropology of an American Girl by Hilary Thayer Hamann // Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

If books don’t do it for you, here’s some new ear candy coming out this month. Cannot wait for the new Naked and Famous!

The Naked and Famous, In Rolling Waves out 9.16 // MGMT, MGMT out 9.17 // Kings of Leon, Mechanical Bull out 9.24

And for those of you not obsessed like me, here are the premiere dates for my beloved fall shows.

The Voice 9.23 // Nashville 9.25 // Grey’s Anatomy 9.26 // Scandal 10.3

  1. UGH I wish we were together to watch those shows! I’m obsessed with them. Loving the layout of this post!

  2. Watching these shows WILL NOT be the same without you :(

  3. Hi Rachael! I haven’t read any of your picks but I started reading “Lost Girls” today and I can’t put it down. I highly recommend it!

    • Hi Donna, so funny that you say that! I read the book last year and I actually personally know Holly – we went to the same college but she graduated ahead of me. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. Can’t wait to read more on your site. :) Thanks for stopping by!
