Ahh. December 1st. Where did this year go? My coworker asked me the other day if 2012 was a good year for me. It’s certainly been hard, confusing and complicated, but somehow I ended up right where I’m supposed to be. Most of all, I am incredibly grateful for my parents this year (and every year!), who always encourage me to pursue my dreams and support me in everything I do, and for always being there when things work out and especially when they don’t. I love you guys.

Here’s the playlist I’ve been adding to since last month as one of my four goals for November was to listen to more music. Sometimes there’s no substitute for a good song or lyrics. I’m trying to come up with more regular features for my blog and I think this might be one of them! More to come soon. Also, amazing book review in the works. Like Harry Potter meets Water for Elephants meets Hunger Games amazing. Xo.

  1. Ah, yes it is December and I have my 9 1/2 foot tree up, first time since Grampa died, so I am making some headway. Feel somewhat festive. Gramma

  2. So glad to hear you’re getting in the Christmas spirit! We watched home videos on Thanksgiving and there was one of you and Grampa setting up the train around the bottom of the tree. We were all in tears from laughing so hard.
